Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Plant Manager role based in Virar.

The Plant

Manager oversees day-to-day plant operations, ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards.

Responsibilities include managing manufacturing workflows, coordinating production planning, optimizing resource utilization, and supervising maintenance activities to minimize downtime. The role involves leading and developing plant teams, monitoring performance metrics, enforcing safety and regulatory compliance, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Manager collaborates with senior management and cross-functional teams to align plant operations with overall business goals and customer requirements.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in Plant Management and Plant Operations, with a track record of managing end-to-end activities on the shop floor.
- Strong capabilities in Operations Management and Production Planning to optimize schedules, capacity, and resource allocation.
- Experience in Manufacturing Operations, including process control, quality assurance, and equipment utilization.
- Proficiency in leadership and people management, including team supervision, training, and performance management.
- Knowledge of safety standards, regulatory compliance, and environmental practices relevant to manufacturing plants.
- Ability to analyze data, use production and ERP systems, and make decisions based on operational metrics.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field; prior experience in aerosol or similar manufacturing is an advantage.
