Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Plant Head to oversee and direct all daily plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality assurance, supply chain, safety, and manpower management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, maximizing productivity, maintaining strict quality standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing overall plant profitability (P&L;).

Key Responsibilities1. Operations & Production Management

- Lead, direct, and optimize overall daily plant operations to ensure targets are met on time and within budget.
- Formulate and implement production schedules, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
- Continuously improve plant efficiency, throughput, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as production yield, downtime, scrap rates, and material consumption.

1. Process Optimization & Cost Control

- Drive Lean Manufacturing practices, 5S, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement initiatives to reduce waste and operational costs.
- Control plant operational expenses (OPEX) and assist in capital expenditure (CAPEX) planning.
- Analyze bottleneck areas in manufacturing processes and execute corrective measures.

1. Quality Assurance & Standards

- Partner with the Quality team to maintain high product quality standards and minimize customer complaints/rejections.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality management systems (QMS), and industry certifications.

1. Maintenance & Engineering

- Oversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance programs for plant machinery and infrastructure.




- Minimize unplanned equipment downtime and ensure optimal machine performance and longevity.

1. Supply Chain, Inventory & Logistics

- Coordinate closely with Purchase, Stores, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless raw material availability and inventory management.
- Optimize raw material usage, finished goods dispatch schedules, and inventory turnover.

1. Team Leadership & Manpower Management

- Lead, coach, and build high-performing teams across production, quality, maintenance, and administrative departments.
- Manage industrial relations (IR), contract labor management, and workforce discipline.
- Identify skill gaps and coordinate with HR for technical training and development of plant staff.

1. Safety, Environment & Statutory Compliance

- Drive a strict culture of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) across all plant activities.
- Ensure 100% compliance with local factory laws, labor laws, environmental guidelines, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with government officials, regulatory authorities, and local communities as needed.

Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Chemical, or relevant Engineering discipline (MBA in Operations is a plus).
- Experience: 10–15+ years of hands-on experience in plant operations, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role (Plant Head / Factory Manager / DGM Plant).
- Skills: Robust knowledge of shop-floor management, Lean/5S techniques, P&L; management, IR/Labor management, and statutory compliances.
- Leadership: Excellent decision-making, crisis management, and team-building abilities.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
