: Consultant / Full-Time Physiotherapist

Position Overview

RHCF is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality, patient-centric physical therapy services across diverse patient demographics, with specialized expertise in kinesiology and athletic taping techniques for pain management, post-injury rehabilitation, and structural support.

Key Responsibilities

Assessment & Diagnosis: Perform detailed physical evaluations, movement assessments, and clinical tests to diagnose musculoskeletal, neurological, and mobility conditions.

Treatment Planning: Formulate individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to rural and semi-urban patient needs.

Taping & Manual Therapy (Core Skill):

Apply specialized kinesiology taping, rigid strapping, and energetic taping to relieve pain, support joint alignment, reduce edema, and enhance muscle function.

Execute manual therapy techniques, soft tissue mobilization, and therapeutic joint manipulations.

Rehabilitation & Exercise Therapy: Design and supervise customized rehabilitation programs using physical modalities, electrotherapy, and exercise protocols.

Patient Education & Counseling:



Instruct patients and caregivers on home-based exercise routines, ergonomic postures, and preventative physical care.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear, accurate, and systematic clinical records of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) is required; Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) in Orthopedics, Musculoskeletal, or Sports Medicine is preferred.

Certifications: Certified training in Kinesiology Taping / Rigid Taping / Dynamic Taping from a recognized institution is highly preferred.

Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of clinical experience with strong exposure to musculoskeletal conditions, sports injury rehabilitation, and pain management.

Languages: Proficiency in Bengali is required for effective patient communication; basic functional English for clinical documentation.

Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, empathy, patience, and the ability to work effectively in primary healthcare settings.

Location: RHCF Primary Healthcare Centers (West Bengal)

Remuneration: Commensurate with qualifications and clinical experience.
