Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based at the production unit in Palghar, near Mumbai, focused on Pharma Project Engineering for OSD (Oral Solid Dosage) and injectable facilities. The skilled in this position will oversee end-to-end project execution, including CAPEX planning, equipment installation, qualification, and commissioning in alignment with GMP requirements. Daily responsibilities include coordinating HVAC and utility systems projects, monitoring timelines and budgets, managing contractors and vendors, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

The role involves close collaboration with production, quality, and maintenance teams to support capacity expansion, technology upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.



The individual will also prepare technical documentation, progress reports, and project status updates for management review.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and Project Planning skills, with hands-on experience in pharma plant projects (OSD and/or injectables).
- Candidates should possess solid Project Management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, resource coordination, and vendor/contractor management.
- Candidates should possess relevant Electrical Engineering skills, especially in power distribution, equipment load assessment, and integration with utilities and HVAC systems.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder alignment, and clear technical documentation.
- 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical production unit projects, including CAPEX execution, HVAC, utilities, and GMP-compliant facilities.
- Thorough understanding of GMP, regulatory requirements, and safety standards applicable to pharma manufacturing plants.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related discipline) from a recognized institution.
- Proficiency in project management tools, MS Office, and basic CAD or layout review software is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and drive results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
