Practice Areas: Patent Research, Patent Drafting, Prosecution & Infringement

We are looking to hire Patent Associates / Senior Associates with relevant experience in patent law and a strong technical background.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct Patent Prior Art Searches, Patent Invalidity Searches and other patent-related research.
- Draft and review Patent Applications, specifications and related documents.
- Handle Patent Prosecution before the Indian Patent Office.
- Assist with Patent Infringement analysis and related matters.
- Analyse technical inventions and assess patentability, novelty and inventive step.
- Conduct detailed technical and legal research and prepare clear, well-structured reports.
- Work closely with clients, inventors and internal teams on patent matters.

Eligibility & Preferred Profile

- Mandatory: Registered Indian Patent Agent.
- Experience:



Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience with a law firm / IP law firm.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
- Computer Science / Information Technology
- Electronics / Telecommunication
- Physics
- Mechanical Engineering
- Chemical Engineering / Chemistry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Robust analytical ability and attention to technical and legal detail.
- Ability to independently handle patent research, drafting and prosecution assignments.

Location-wise Requirements

Mumbai / Bangalore / Chennai:

Candidates with a background in Computer Science, Information Technology or Physics.

Chennai:

Candidates with a background in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
