Role Description The Overseas Education Counselor is a full-time, in office role based in Gurugram. This role involves providing one-on-one counseling to students and families on overseas education options, including suitable courses, universities, and destinations. The counselor will conduct detailed needs assessments, explain admission requirements, guide students through application and documentation processes, and provide support with standardized tests and scholarship opportunities.

Daily responsibilities include handling inquiries via phone, email,



and in-person meetings, maintaining accurate student records, and following up with prospective applicants to ensure timely progression through each stage. The counselor will also collaborate with internal teams, participate in information sessions or seminars, and stay updated on global education trends, admission policies, and visa regulations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Educational Consulting and Education-related knowledge to advise on international universities, programs, and admission criteria.
- Candidates should possess effective Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to understand student goals and provide appropriate academic and career guidance.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening, to interact with students, families, and institutional partners.
- Candidates should ideally have prior experience in overseas education counseling, student advisory roles, or related education services.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple student cases, deadlines, and documentation requirements.
