Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist based in Bengaluru South. The radiologist will interpret 2D and 3D dental and maxillofacial imaging studies (including CBCT, panoramic, and intraoral radiographs), generate structured radiology reports, and provide evidence-based diagnostic impressions to guide treatment planning.



The role involves collaborating with dentists and diagnostic center teams to clarify clinical questions, recommend appropriate imaging, and support early detection of head and neck pathologies.

The radiologist will use Vi-Scan’s digital platforms and evolving AI tools for image review, workflow management, and communication with clinicians. Additional responsibilities include maintaining quality standards, adhering to regulatory and ethical guidelines, participating in protocol optimization, and contributing to training or case discussions as needed.

Qualifications

- Advanced clinical and diagnostic expertise in oral and maxillofacial radiology, including interpretation of CBCT, panoramic, and other dental imaging modalities.
- Solid knowledge of head and neck anatomy, dental pathology, maxillofacial trauma, and oncology-related findings relevant to early cancer detection.
- Proficiency in digital radiology systems, PACS, and dental imaging software; comfort working with technology-driven diagnostic platforms.
- Ability to produce clear, structured, and clinically useful radiology reports with attention to detail and diagnostic accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with dentists, diagnostic staff, and other healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary setting.
- Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, and adherence to applicable regulatory and quality standards in radiology.
- Recognized qualification in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (e.g., MDS in Oral Medicine and Radiology or equivalent),
