We're Hiring: Operations Manager / Head Factory Automation | Bangalore

We are hiring on behalf of a Korean factory automation company setting up its India operations in Bangalore. The company specializes in Factory Automation (FA) components — including Linear Robots, Cartesian Robots, and Precision Positioning Systems — and counts a key Apple supplier among its customers.

About the Role:

We are looking for an Operations Manager to build the India entity from the ground up, including setting up factory operations (~10,000 sq. ft.), driving business growth, and establishing the company's presence in the Indian market.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end India operations, including factory setup and operational readiness

Drive business development and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers

Oversee sales, technical support, and customer engagement for FA components (linear robots, Cartesian robots, precision positioning systems)

Liaise with the Korean parent company on strategy,



reporting, and operational alignment

Build and lead a local team as the business scales

Ensure compliance, vendor management, and smooth factory operations

What we're looking for:

Proven experience in a Operation Head role, ideally with a Japanese/Korean MNC or in the Factory Automation / Industrial Automation space

Strong understanding of FA components — robotics, positioning systems, or related industrial automation products

Experience setting up or scaling operations in India, including factory/manufacturing setup

Robust business development and key account management skills

Comfortable working directly with overseas (Korean) leadership and stakeholders

Knowledge of Korean Language is a big plus.
