We are looking for a skilled and responsible Operation Theatre & Anaesthesia Technician to support surgical and anaesthesia procedures and ensure safe, efficient operation of the OT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and arrange OT, surgical instruments, equipment, and consumables before procedures.
- Assist surgeons and anaesthetists during surgical and anaesthesia procedures.
- Operate, check, and maintain OT and anaesthesia equipment.
- Ensure proper sterilization, disinfection, and infection-control practices.
- Maintain OT records, checklists, and equipment logs.
- Monitor availability and stock of surgical and anaesthesia supplies.
- Follow hospital safety protocols and NABH standards.
- Assist with cleaning, turnover, and preparation of the OT between procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma/B.Sc. in Operation Theatre & Anaesthesia Technology or equivalent.
- Relevant hospital/OT experience preferred.
- Valuable knowledge of surgical instruments, anaesthesia equipment, and infection-control practices.
- Good communication, teamwork, and ability to work in shifts.
