To understand customer requirements and engineering problems, coordinate with the technical team, and develop suitable technical and commercial offers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand customer requirements, engineering problems and application needs.
- Coordinate with the TSS/technical team to develop appropriate solutions.
- Design and develop 3D models and 2D engineering drawings using CAD tools.
- Define product specifications based on customer and application requirements.
- Prepare engineering calculations and support technical evaluation.
- Develop BOMs and calculate product/offer costs.
- Prepare and present technical offers and related documentation.
- Perform cost/value analysis to support competitive offer preparation.
- Understand manufacturing processes and wear measurement requirements.
- Identify and understand key customer pain points and provide suitable engineering solutions.
- Coordinate with internal PMG teams, vendors and customers for offer-related requirements.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of technical and commercial offer documentation.
- Contribute towards continuous improvement and innovation in the offer development process.
Preferred Industry Background Candidates from Metals & Mining, Heavy Engineering, Capital Equipment Manufacturing, Industrial Equipment or related manufacturing industries will be preferred.
