NURSING STAFF

Job Purpose To provide quality nursing care and first-response medical support to students, faculty, staff and campus residents.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide nursing care, basic assessment and first aid to patients visiting the Health Centre.
- Assist the RMO/Medical Officer in consultation, treatment and emergency management .
- Administer medicines, injections, dressings and other procedures as prescribed.
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient condition and escalate concerns promptly.
- Attend to campus medical emergencies and coordinate ambulance/referral services when required.
- Maintain accurate patient records, nursing notes and medical documentation .
- Maintain and monitor medicines, emergency supplies and medical equipment .
- Ensure proper hygiene, infection-control and safety practices within the Health Centre.
- Support health check-ups, vaccination drives, health awareness and wellness programmes.
- Maintain patient confidentiality,



skilled ethics and compassionate patient care .

Qualification & Experience

- GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) from a recognised institution.
- Valid registration with the State Nursing Council / INC as applicable .
- Prior hospital/clinic/institutional nursing experience preferred.
- BLS certification desirable.

Working Requirement: Shift/on-call duties as per roster. Campus accommodation is mandatory.
