As part of our growth, we are currently seeking an experienced Lead I&C; Design Engineer to join our engineering team for our offices in Pune or Gurgaon .

Role Summary The Lead I&C; Engineer provides technical leadership for the design, integration, and delivery of Instrumentation & Control, ICSS, Fire & Gas, and related systems for offshore oil & gas projects. The role leads engineering activities, manages technical interfaces, supports project execution, and ensures compliance with project, client, and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead I&C; engineering activities and manage assigned engineering teams.
- Develop,



review, and approve instrumentation and control engineering deliverables.
- Provide technical solutions and resolve complex engineering issues.
- Coordinate interfaces with Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Telecom, and Safety disciplines.
- Review vendor documentation and ensure package/system integration.
- Participate in HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, and design review workshops.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes, and client requirements.
- Provide technical support during commissioning, start-up, and offshore activities.
- Act as technical focal point for clients and stakeholders.
- Mentor engineers and promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Support the Discipline Manager and act as Discipline Lead or Technical Expert when required.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Control Engineering , or related field.
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in offshore oil & gas I&C; engineering.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Lead/Senior Engineer role .
- Strong experience in Instrumentation, ICSS, Process Control, and Fire & Gas systems .
- Positive knowledge of hazardous area design and functional safety , including IEC 61508 and IEC 61511.
- Experience with vendor/package engineering and multidisciplinary interfaces.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in written and spoken English .
