Roles & Responsibilities

- Oversee quality, consistency, and trainer performance across Nepali AI training projects
- Review AI-generated Nepali content, trainer submissions, and QA work against project-specific guidelines, rubrics, and quality standards
- Evaluate content for accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, punctuation, tone, cultural appropriateness, meaning preservation, instruction-following, formatting, and terminology consistency
- Spot-check Nepali items and identify issues involving mistranslation, literal phrasing, unnatural tone, incorrect honorific level, Hindi- or English-influenced phrasing, hallucinated claims, ambiguity, inconsistent terminology, or rubric non-compliance
- Evaluate Nepali-specific linguistic accuracy involving Devanagari script, honorifics, postpositions, verb forms, grammatical agreement, tone, register, and cultural context
- Provide precise, actionable written feedback to trainers and QAs to improve language quality, evaluation consistency, and project adherence
- Escalate recurring, critical, or high-impact quality issues, including mistranslation patterns, cultural mismatches, guideline confusion, and trainer-quality concerns
- Communicate new item guidelines, project changes, workflow updates, quality expectations, and Nepali-specific review standards through Discord and other project channels
- Respond clearly and promptly to trainer and QA questions involving Nepali grammar, register, honorifics, Devanagari script, translation fidelity, terminology, cultural context, formatting, and language edge cases
- Track trainer and QA participation, follow up with inactive contributors, encourage activation,



and flag availability issues when needed
- Create, maintain, and update Nepali project documentation, including style guides, FAQs, trackers, quality notes, examples, honeypots, calibration tasks, and onboarding materials
- Schedule and conduct onboarding and training sessions covering project workflows, evaluation rubrics, quality standards, and Nepali-specific language requirements
- Ensure trainers and QAs apply Nepali language guidelines consistently as projects, client expectations, and task requirements evolve
- Monitor recurring quality patterns and recommend workflow, documentation, rubric, or training improvements
- Support the development of scalable QA processes for Nepali-language projects through structured feedback, calibration, documentation, and quality monitoring
- Help ensure Nepali AI training data is natural, accurate, culturally appropriate, well-documented, and aligned with client expectations
- Support AI model improvement through quality reviews, trainer coaching, LLM evaluation, response analysis, and structured QA documentation

Requirements

- Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Nepali, Linguistics, Translation, Communications, Journalism, English, Education, Quality Assurance, or a related field preferred
- Native or near-native Nepali proficiency, with solid reading and writing ability required
- Strong English proficiency, with the ability to follow detailed project guidelines, communicate with remote teams,



and provide clear written feedback
- Strong working experience in Nepali writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, education, annotation, or related language-review workflows
- Deep understanding of Nepali grammar, spelling conventions, punctuation, Devanagari script, honorifics, postpositions, verb forms, agreement, tone, register, cultural context, and terminology
- Ability to evaluate Nepali content against detailed rubrics and identify mistranslation, literal phrasing, unnatural tone, incorrect honorific level, Hindi- or English-influenced phrasing, hallucinated claims, ambiguity, and inconsistent terminology
- Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QA contributors strongly preferred
- Strong communication, coaching, organization, and quality-management skills
- Experience creating and maintaining style guides, FAQs, trackers, onboarding materials, honeypots, calibration tasks, quality notes, and other project documentation preferred
- Comfortable working in fast-moving remote environments using Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, and project-management systems
- Strong analytical judgment when evaluating AI-generated content, contributor quality, rubric adherence, and recurring workflow gaps
- Previous experience with AI data training, data annotation, large language models, prompt/response evaluation, localization QA, translation QA, or rubric-based LLM review strongly preferred
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, or similar platforms preferred
- Reliable remote-work practices, confidentiality handling, self-direction, and consistency across structured quality workflows required
