Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Nephrologist role based at Apex Hospitals in Jhunjhunu. The Nephrologist will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and managing patients with acute and chronic kidney diseases, including hypertension and related systemic conditions. Daily responsibilities include supervising dialysis services (hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis), managing complications, and coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams.

The role involves performing inpatient and outpatient consultations, providing pre- and post-transplant nephrology care, reviewing diagnostic tests,



and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and quality standards. The Nephrologist will also participate in patient education, clinical documentation, and case discussions, contributing to continuous improvement in nephrology services.

Qualifications

- Solid clinical foundation in Medicine and Nephrology, with the ability to diagnose and manage complex renal conditions.
- Competence in Dialysis and Hemodialysis procedures, including patient assessment, prescription, and management of dialysis-related complications.
- Experience in Transplant-related nephrology care, including evaluation for transplant suitability and post-transplant follow-up.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS) with MD or DNB in Internal Medicine and DM or DNB in Nephrology, or equivalent specialization.
- Valid medical license/registration and eligibility to practice as a specialist in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary hospital setting, with strong communication, teamwork, and decision-making skills.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, ethical patient care, and adherence to hospital protocols and NABH standards.
- Prior experience in a tertiary care or super-speciality hospital setting is preferred.
