Role Overview
We are looking for a Mid-Level Specialist – Talent Acquisition to join our HR team and drive end-to-end recruitment across multiple business functions.
The role will involve partnering with business leaders and hiring managers to understand talent requirements, develop targeted sourcing strategies, conduct market and talent mapping, identify relevant target organisations, and build high-quality talent pipelines.
The ideal candidate should combine strong recruitment expertise with data-driven sourcing, AI-enabled recruitment practices, market intelligence, and talent research capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Talent Acquisition
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from manpower requisition to onboarding.
- Understand role requirements, competencies, team structures, and business expectations.
- Develop customised sourcing strategies based on the complexity and seniority of each position.
- Source and engage candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, professional networks, referrals, databases, and other relevant channels.
- Conduct initial candidate screening and assess profiles against defined role requirements.
- Coordinate interviews, assessments, feedback, reference checks, offers, and joining formalities.
- Maintain regular engagement with candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
2. Market Mapping & Talent Intelligence
- Conduct market mapping to understand the availability and distribution of relevant talent across industries, functions, organisations, and geographies.
- Develop talent maps for critical and specialised positions.
- Identify key talent pools and emerging sources of talent for current and future hiring requirements.
- Analyse market trends related to talent availability, skill sets, compensation, organisation structures, and hiring patterns.
- Build talent intelligence that can support strategic workforce and hiring decisions.
3. Target Company Mapping
- Identify and develop a database of target companies/organisations relevant to specific hiring mandates.
- Conduct organisation-level research to identify potential talent pools and relevant teams/functions.
- Map relevant professionals from target companies based on role, designation, experience, skill set, and sector exposure.
- Build and maintain target-company-wise talent pipelines for recurring and strategic positions.
- Identify adjacent industries and organisations that can provide relevant transferable talent.
4. AI-Enabled Recruitment & Sourcing
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of AI tools and emerging technologies for Talent Acquisition.
- Leverage AI tools to improve sourcing, talent identification, market research, profile screening, candidate matching, and recruitment productivity.
- Use AI-enabled tools to support Boolean search, talent discovery, market mapping, competitor/target-company research, JD development, candidate profiling, and recruitment analytics.
- Explore and implement new AI-driven approaches to improve recruitment efficiency and candidate quality.
- Maintain appropriate human oversight and professional judgement while using AI tools in recruitment.
5. Stakeholder Management
- Partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand current and future talent requirements.
- Act as a recruitment advisor on sourcing strategy, talent availability, compensation, market conditions, and hiring timelines.
- Present talent-market insights and candidate pipelines to relevant stakeholders.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure regular communication on hiring progress and challenges.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across business functions.
6. Candidate Assessment & Engagement
- Evaluate candidates against role-specific competencies, experience, sector exposure, and organisational requirements.
- Conduct structured screening discussions and prepare candidate assessments/synopses.
- Engage with passive talent and build relationships with potential candidates for future opportunities.
- Ensure a professional and consistent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Support offer discussions, compensation alignment, notice-period negotiations, and joining management.
7. Recruitment Analytics & MIS
- Maintain accurate recruitment trackers, talent databases, and candidate pipelines.
- Track key recruitment metrics including:
- Open positions
- Sourcing pipeline
- Interview conversion
- Offer status
- Offer-to-joining ratio
- Time-to-hire
- Source effectiveness
- Position ageing
- Prepare recruitment dashboards, reports, and insights for management.
- Use recruitment data to identify bottlenecks and improve hiring outcomes.
8. Process Improvement & Innovation
- Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, sourcing strategies, candidate assessment, and stakeholder engagement.
- Develop standardised approaches for market mapping, talent mapping, target-company mapping, and talent pipeline development.
- Evaluate new recruitment platforms, AI tools, sourcing techniques, and market intelligence solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement in recruitment turnaround time, quality of hire, and candidate experience.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification preferred.
Experience
- 6–8 years of relevant experience in Talent Acquisition / Recruitment.
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end recruitment across multiple functions and stakeholder groups.
- Demonstrated experience in talent research, market mapping, talent mapping, and targeted sourcing.
- Experience in hiring for mid-to-senior level positions would be preferred.
- Exposure to corporate, consulting, professional services, government-linked organisations, investment promotion, or high-growth environments would be an advantage.
