JOB TITLE: MERCHANDISER CUM FASHION DESIGNER

LOCATION: MUMBAI

ROLE TYPE: FULL TIME POSITION (WITH A MINIMUM 2 YRS WORK EXPERIENCE)

Flaunt Green is looking for a Merchandiser cum Fashion Designer to manage end-to-end development and execution of our ready-to-wear collections, with responsibility for each stage from design development to production and shoot; including fabric sourcing, cost projections, vendors’ sourcing, sampling and production, quality control, and final delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

MERCHANDISING

- Prepare and monitor style-wise costing, fabric consumption, and material requirements.
- Translate the CAD into patterns and get muslin samples made.
- Source and coordinate fabrics, trims, accessories, vendors and other production materials.
- Coordinate with vendors and production units to ensure timely delivery of materials including fabrics and trims & accessories.
- Monitor production quality against approved samples, specifications, and FG standards in a time-bound manner.
- Track inventory, material usage, wastage, production status, and deliveries and maintain a written documentation.
- Maintain accurate documentation, style codes, SKUs, production trackers, and vendor records.
- Ensure materials and product development follow FG's defined stringent quality and sustainability standards.
- Identify opportunities for product improvement, cost efficiency, material optimization,



and new product development.

FASHION DESIGNING
- Develop garment designs, silhouettes, colourways, and product concepts aligned with Flaunt Green's design language.
- Research fabrics, materials, trends, techniques, and sustainable alternatives relevant to the brand.
- Prepare/coordinate fashion sketches, CADs, tech packs, BOMs, measurements, and product specifications.
- Coordinate sampling, fittings, alterations, approvals, and final sample development with production units.

Ideal Candidate

- Degree/diploma in Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Design, Apparel Production, or a related field.
- Experience in both apparel merchandising/production and fashion design.
- Understanding of garment construction, fabrics, fit, costing, and production processes. Ability to create/interpret fashion CADs and technical specifications.
- Strong vendor coordination, communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple styles and timelines simultaneously.
- An understanding of sustainable fashion, Indian textiles, handloom, and responsible production would be an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a growing, design-led fashion brand.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
