Merchandiser & Sales Executive -FMCG - Contemporary Trade
Core Responsibilities
On-Shelf Availability & Stock Management
- Shelf Replenishment: Ensuring products are constantly moved from the store's backroom warehouse to the retail floor so shelves are never empty. [1, 2]
- FIFO Implementation: Practicing First In, First Out (FIFO) stock rotation to push older inventory forward, minimizing product expiries and stock waste. [1, 2]
- Preventing Out-of-Stock (OOS): Monitoring stock velocity and alerting both the store manager and the FMCG parent company to reorder when stock hits critical thresholds
