Role Description This is a full-time MEP Estimation Engineer role based in Vadodara, offered in a hybrid work model with some flexibility for working from home. The person in this role will prepare detailed MEP estimates for laboratory infrastructure projects, including analyzing drawings, specifications, and tender documents to develop accurate BOQs and cost breakdowns. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with design, engineering, and project teams to clarify requirements, updating estimates based on design changes,



and supporting the preparation of technical and commercial proposals.

The MEP Estimation Engineer will assist in vendor and subcontractor evaluations, contribute to negotiations, and track project costs against estimates to improve future forecasting. The role also involves market and technical research to refine cost databases, stay current with industry standards, and support continuous improvement of estimation processes.

Qualifications

- Strong estimation skills, including BOQ preparation and project estimation for MEP and civil-related lab infrastructure.
- Foundational knowledge in Civil Engineering or related engineering disciplines relevant to laboratory construction and services.
- Ability to conduct thorough technical and market research to validate costs, materials, and methods.
- Negotiation and coordination skills for working with vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in MEP estimation for commercial or industrial projects, preferably in laboratories or similar environments.
- Proficiency with MS Excel and estimation software; familiarity with CAD drawings and project documentation.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and the ability to meet deadlines in a project-driven setting.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid setup.
