Role Description The MEP Project Manager will oversee end-to-end Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works for interior projects, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance, and timely completion. This full-time, on-site role based in Chennai includes planning and coordinating MEP activities, managing project schedules and budgets, and supervising contractors and vendors on site.

The role involves reviewing designs and submittals, resolving technical issues, and aligning MEP execution with overall interior and civil works. The MEP Project Manager will conduct site inspections, monitor quality and safety standards,



and maintain clear documentation and reporting. Regular collaboration with clients, architects, consultants, and internal teams is required to ensure smooth project delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) expertise, including practical knowledge of Plumbing systems and coordination with other building services.
- Candidates should possess solid Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and cross-functional coordination.
- Candidates should possess Budgeting skills, with the ability to prepare estimates, monitor costs, and optimize project expenditures.
- Candidates should possess experience with Submittals, including reviewing drawings, technical documents, and material approvals for compliance with standards.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience managing MEP works in interior fit-out or construction projects, ideally in corporate or commercial environments.
- Knowledge of relevant codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices for MEP installations.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead site teams effectively.
- Proficiency in project documentation, MS Office, and basic CAD or project management software is an advantage.
