- Good understanding of mechatronic systems and automotive product development.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic system integration.
- Basic knowledge of electric motors, sensors, actuators, and steering components.
- Experience or exposure to FMEA/DFMEA.
- Knowledge of DVP, DVP&R;, NPD, APQP, or ADVP processes.
- Understanding of product testing and validation methodologies.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma or structured problem-solving techniques.
- Ability to understand 3D models, 2D drawings, GD&T;, and engineering specifications.
- Basic working knowledge of CAD and FEA processes.
- Good supplier coordination and technical communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple engineering teams and component owners.
- Good analytical, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional automotive engineering setting.
