Position: Mechanical Technician

Location: Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) – Africa

Industry: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Job Role:

- - Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of pharmaceutical production machinery to ensure maximum equipment uptime and smooth plant operations.

- - Should have hands-on experience with at least one of the following machines: Tablet Machine, Capsule Machine, Blister Machine, Bottle Filling Machine, or Coating Machine.

- - Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults, equipment breakdowns, alignment issues, pneumatic/hydraulic problems, and component failures in production machinery.

- - Perform machine installation, assembly, dismantling, calibration, changeover, and commissioning as required.





- - Conduct routine inspection and servicing of gearboxes, bearings, motors, pumps, conveyors, shafts, valves, pneumatic systems, and other mechanical components.

- - Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to minimize downtime and ensure effective machine performance.

- - Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, spare-parts requirements, and preventive maintenance schedules.

- - Ensure all maintenance activities comply with GMP, safety, quality, and pharmaceutical manufacturing standards.

- - Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine reliability, productivity, and operational efficiency.
