Role Description The Mechanical Manufacturing Operations Intern will support day-to-day manufacturing and engineering activities in a full time, on-site role based in Vadodara.

Responsibilities include assisting with machine operation and basic maintenance tasks, supporting production planning, and helping ensure smooth workflow across the shop floor. The intern will work with mechanical engineers to review and interpret 2D drawings and 3D CAD models, observe and participate in inspection processes, and help document production activities.



The role also involves coordinating with the team on tooling, jigs, fixtures, and special purpose machine projects, while learning practical aspects of manufacturing processes.

This position offers hands-on training, exposure to real-world mechanical operations, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Mechanical Engineering and an interest in manufacturing operations.
- Candidates should possess skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and 3D models.
- Candidates should possess basic Maintenance skills related to mechanical systems and production equipment.
- Candidates should possess Inspection skills, including understanding of quality checks, measurement tools, and production standards.
- Candidates should possess awareness of Automotive and industrial equipment applications, including common components and manufacturing practices.
- Enrollment in or completion of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Vadodara, follow safety procedures, and collaborate effectively with supervisors and technicians.
- Strong analytical thinking, willingness to learn, and basic proficiency in MS Office or similar tools will be beneficial.
