Role Description The Mechanical Engineer will work on-site in Rajkot in a full-time capacity, supporting the design, analysis, and improvement of forged flanges, forged components, and related automotive products. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing engineering drawings, selecting materials and processes, and collaborating with production and quality teams to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

The role involves optimizing CNC machining and forging processes, troubleshooting mechanical issues on the shop floor, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives for safety, productivity, and product performance.

The Mechanical

Engineer will also support documentation for certifications,



assist in root-cause analysis of customer complaints, and coordinate with cross-functional teams for new product development. Regular interaction with suppliers and internal stakeholders will be required to maintain quality, reduce costs, and meet delivery timelines.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles, including materials science, machine design, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in CAD software (such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) for creating and reviewing mechanical drawings and models.
- Experience with forging, CNC machining, and related production technologies in a heavy manufacturing or automotive environment.
- Knowledge of quality standards and systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and ability to support process control, inspection, and documentation.
- Ability to analyze mechanical failures, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capability to work collaboratively with production, maintenance, and quality teams.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline; prior experience in forging or automotive components manufacturing is an advantage.
- Willingness to work in office in Rajkot and be present on the shop floor as needed to support operations and improvement initiatives.
