About the Role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Production and Planning team. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, laser cutting programming, coordination with manufacturing teams, and ensuring smooth execution of PEB manufacturing activities.

Candidates with prior experience in Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) manufacturing / structural steel fabrication will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and execute production plans and schedules based on project requirements.
- Coordinate with production, design, fabrication, and other relevant departments to ensure timely production.
- Prepare and manage laser cutting programs as per approved drawings and production requirements.
- Operate/program laser cutting machines and ensure optimum material utilization.
- Review engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and cutting requirements.
- Ensure correct dimensions, specifications, and material requirements before production.
- Monitor production progress and coordinate with shop-floor teams to achieve planned targets.
- Identify production delays, material issues, or technical problems and coordinate for timely resolution.
- Ensure proper sequencing of jobs and effective utilization of manpower and machinery.
- Maintain production-related records, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety,



and production standards.
- Coordinate with supervisors and operators for smooth execution of manufacturing activities.
- Support continuous improvement in production processes, productivity, and material utilization.

Key Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in production, planning, laser cutting, fabrication, or manufacturing.
- Hands-on knowledge of laser cutting programming and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to understand and interpret engineering/fabrication drawings.
- Valuable understanding of production planning and shop-floor coordination.
- Candidates with experience in PEB (Pre-Engineered Building) manufacturing will be strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of structural steel fabrication/manufacturing will be an added advantage.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Willingness to work from Chamarajanagar.
