Key Responsibilities
Third-party inspection and quality control of mechanical activities on onshore cross-country oil & gas pipeline projects — from incoming material inspection through to final handover.
- Incoming Material Inspection Reports (IMIR) and material verification
- Welding, WPQT and welder/electrode qualification (EQT)
- RT film review, NDT witnessing and report clearance
- Stringing, trenching, lowering,
holiday testing and field joint coating
- Back filling, cleaning & gauging, hydrotesting, swabbing and drying
- Station piping, pneumatic & hydro testing
- Pipe book review, as-built and final documentation, handover
What we're looking for
- 6+ years in inspection / QC of mechanical activities on oil & gas cross-country pipelines
- Background with an EPC contractor, PMC, third-party inspection agency or oil & gas owner
- Working knowledge of API 1104, ASME B31.4 / B31.8
- Willingness to work at remote right-of-way locations and travel along the pipeline route
