Role Description The Mechanical Design Engineer – BIM role is a full-time, on-site position based in Haveli. The individual in this role will develop detailed mechanical designs and BIM models for projects in sectors such as aerospace, automotive, industrial products, and consumer appliances. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and updating 3D/2D models, preparing accurate drawings and documentation, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.

The role involves interpreting client specifications, optimizing designs for manufacturability, and collaborating with project managers and engineers to deliver projects on schedule.

The Mechanical Design





Engineer – BIM will also support design reviews, troubleshoot design issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of design standards and processes.

(Knowledge of SolidWorks will be an added advantage)

Qualifications

- Strong mechanical design skills, including 3D/2D modeling, detailing, and product design for sectors such as aerospace, automotive, industrial products, and appliances.
- Proficiency with BIM and CAD tools (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Inventor), including creating coordinated models and construction-ready drawings.
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacturability and assembly.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to mechanical systems and products.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills for resolving design conflicts and improving design efficiency.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
- Attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline; relevant industry experience in mechanical design and BIM is highly beneficial.
- Experience in sectors such as aerospace interiors, medical devices, oil & gas, or industrial equipment design is an advantage.
