Job Responsibilities

- Prepare 2D and 3D drawings for sheet metal components, assemblies, panels, and enclosures.
- Develop designs as per customer drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Prepare fabrication drawings, part drawings, BOMs, and cutting/bending details.
- Design components suitable for CNC laser cutting and CNC press brake bending.
- Select appropriate materials, sheet thicknesses, hardware, and manufacturing processes.
- Coordinate with production, fabrication, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability.
- Review customer drawings and identify design or technical issues before production.
- Make design modifications based on production requirements and customer feedback.
- Maintain drawing revisions, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
- Support production with technical clarification and resolve fabrication-related design issues.
- Ensure designs meet required dimensions, tolerances, quality standards, and cost targets.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of sheet metal design and fabrication processes.




- Experience with AutoCAD / SolidWorks / Creo / Inventor or similar CAD software.
- Knowledge of laser cutting, bending, welding, fabrication, and powder coating.
- Understanding of sheet metal bend allowance, bend deduction, K-factor, tolerances, and GD&T.;
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Positive problem-solving and communication skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office and basic engineering documentation.

Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.

Preferred Experience

Experience in sheet metal fabrication, electrical panels, machine enclosures, industrial cabinets, or precision fabrication will be preferred.

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹48,000.00 per month
