About DetectifAIDetectifAI is a deeptech cybersecurity company focused on combating misinformation, fraud, and digital manipulation.

Our AI-powered technology detects deepfakes and AI-generated audio with forensic-level accuracy. We work with organizations across media, cybersecurity, BFSI, and other high-trust industries to help verify content authenticity and strengthen digital trust.

We’re building in a rapidly evolving space where AI-generated content and voice-based fraud are becoming increasingly sophisticated. Now, we’re looking for someone who can help us build an authentic presence where these conversations are already happening: Reddit.

About the RoleWe are looking for a Reddit Marketing & Community Growth Intern who understands Reddit, enjoys online communities, and wants to experiment with how a deeptech cybersecurity company can build genuine awareness and engagement.

This isn't a conventional social media internship where you'll simply schedule posts.

You'll research communities, understand subreddit cultures, participate in relevant conversations, experiment with different content strategies, and identify opportunities to introduce DetectifAI's work in a way that is genuinely useful to the community.

You'll have significant ownership and the opportunity to build the Reddit strategy from the ground up.

What You'll Work On

- Research and identify relevant subreddits around AI, cybersecurity, deepfakes, voice cloning, fraud, technology, digital trust, and related topics.
- Understand subreddit cultures, rules, audiences, discussions, and content patterns.
- Develop and experiment with Reddit-native content and engagement strategies.
- Draft posts, comments, discussion prompts, and other community content.
- Participate meaningfully in relevant conversations and respond to questions or feedback.
- Monitor Reddit discussions to identify emerging trends, user pain points, and opportunities relevant to DetectifAI.
- Conduct competitor and audience research.




- Track engagement and other relevant metrics to understand what works.
- Test different approaches, learn from results, and continuously improve the strategy.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to align Reddit activity with broader growth objectives.
- Help build a repeatable Reddit/community-growth playbook for DetectifAI.

First 2 Weeks: Experimentation & EvaluationThe first two weeks will be an experimentation and evaluation phase. You'll be encouraged to test different communities, content formats, engagement approaches, and strategies. We care more about your ability to understand Reddit, think creatively, learn quickly, and identify what works than simply generating a high volume of posts.

At the end of the first two weeks, we'll evaluate:

- Quality of execution
- Understanding of Reddit communities
- Creativity and experimentation
- Initiative and ownership
- Ability to learn and iterate
- Early engagement and results
- Overall fit with the team

Based on the evaluation, we'll decide on continuing the internship for the remainder of the month and potentially extending the engagement thereafter. What We're Looking For
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Genuine familiarity with Reddit and its culture, communities, rules, and content formats.
- Ability to understand different subreddit audiences and adapt communication accordingly.
- Solid research skills and curiosity about online communities and user behavior.
- Ability to write concise, engaging, and context-aware content.
- Interest in AI, cybersecurity, deepfakes, technology, or digital media.
- A proactive mindset and willingness to experiment, test, fail, learn, and iterate.




- Strong attention to detail and ownership of assigned work.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Prior experience actively using Reddit, participating in communities, or managing online communities is a strong advantage.
- Students and recent graduates from Marketing, Communications, Business, Technology, or related backgrounds are welcome. Relevant practical experience can be considered in place of a specific degree.

Compensation & Engagement₹10,000 for the initial one-month internship. The first two weeks will serve as the experimentation and evaluation phase. Based on performance, initiative, quality of execution, results, and overall fit, the internship may be extended with revised compensation.
