Job Title: Manual QA Tester, Mobile (Android/iOS)

Employment Type: Contract, 6 months (extension based on performance and project needs)

Role Summary

We need a manual tester to support testing of our Android and iOS applications for the next 6 months. You will execute test cases, report defects, and help us release stable builds on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand requirements and user stories, then write and execute test cases.
- Perform functional, smoke, sanity, regression, and exploratory testing on Android and iOS.
- Test on different devices, screen sizes, and OS versions.
- Check mobile-specific scenarios: incoming calls and notifications, app backgrounding and resuming, permissions, orientation changes, and poor or no network.
- Test push notifications, installs, updates, and uninstalls.
- Log defects in Jira (or a similar tool) with clear steps, screenshots, and screen recordings, then retest fixes.




- Share daily or weekly test status updates with the team.
- Support release testing and build verification (TestFlight, Firebase App Distribution).

Required Skills
- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and the bug life cycle.
- Ability to write explicit test cases and bug reports.
- Hands-on experience testing mobile apps (academic projects or internships count).
- Basic knowledge of Jira or similar tools.
- Good communication and willingness to learn quickly.

Good to Have
- Basic API testing with Postman.
- Familiarity with Android Logcat or the Xcode console.
- Basic SQL.
- Exposure to BrowserStack or similar device farms.
- Awareness of Agile/Scrum.

Contract Details
- Duration: 6 months
- Joining: Immediate or within 15 days preferred

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
