Job Title: Manual QA Tester, Web

Employment Type: Contract, 6 months (extension based on performance and project needs)

Role Summary

We need a manual tester to test our web applications over a 6-month contract. You will execute test cases, find and report defects, and help ensure each release works well across browsers and devices.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand requirements and write and execute test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, smoke, sanity, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Do cross-browser testing (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and responsive testing.
- Validate forms, input validations, navigation, login and sessions, and user roles.
- Use browser DevTools to check console errors and network calls.
- Log defects in Jira (or a similar tool) with transparent steps and evidence, then retest fixes.
- Do basic API testing with Postman.




- Share regular test progress updates and support release verification.

Required Skills
- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and the bug life cycle.
- Knowledge of basic test design techniques (boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning).
- Ability to write clear test cases and bug reports.
- Basic knowledge of Postman, browser DevTools, and HTTP status codes.
- Basic knowledge of Jira or similar tools.
- Good communication and a quick learner.

Good to Have
- Basic SQL for data validation.
- Exposure to Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Experience with BrowserStack or LambdaTest.
- Awareness of Agile/Scrum.

Contract Details
- Duration: 6 months
- Joining: Immediate or within 15 days preferred

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
