The Role

As Manager, Quality & Patient Safety, you will lead our quality and patient safety program. You will keep the hospital audit-ready all year, turn standards into everyday practice, and build a culture where quality belongs to every department, not just the quality office.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain NABH compliance and lead preparation for surveillance assessments and re-accreditation
- Develop, review, and update SOPs, policies, and documentation across all departments
- Plan and run internal audits, clinical audits, mock drills, and patient safety rounds, and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to closure
- Manage the incident, near-miss, and sentinel event reporting system, including root cause analysis
- Monitor quality indicators and patient safety metrics, and present trends and gaps to senior leadership
- Work with infection control, nursing, pharmacy, and clinical teams on medication safety, hand hygiene, and safe surgical practices
- Support patient rights, consent,



and grievance processes in partnership with Patient Services
- Train staff on quality standards, documentation, and safety practices, including induction for new joiners
- Coordinate with department heads to close audit gaps and build ownership
- Prepare dashboards, management review reports, and audit summaries

What We're Looking For

- 5 to 6 years of experience in hospital quality or NABH compliance
- Hands-on experience working in a NABH-accredited hospital, ideally through at least one full assessment cycle
- Strong knowledge of NABH standards, internal audits, and documentation systems
- Experience with root cause analysis, CAPA, and quality improvement methods (PDCA, Lean, or Six Sigma)
- Strong training, coordination, and communication skills, with the confidence to work with senior clinicians
- Comfort with data and reporting
- Graduate degree required; MHA, MBA (Hospital or Healthcare Management), a quality qualification (NABH assessor or internal auditor training), or a clinical background (BDS, BAMS, BHMS, nursing, or MBBS) is a plus
