Getting monthly schedules from customers and ordering raw materials.
Ø Giving dispatch commitment plan to customers. Driving ON TIME delivery fulfillment.
Ø Raw material requirement planning with purchase department.
Production planning (monthly, weekly, daily schedules) as per customer schedule
Ø Preventive maintenance planning for Machines and Tools as per the schedule. Following up PM schedules and getting allotted machines as per dates
Ø Resolving production line issue and customer compliant with Quality team.
Ø Monthly billing plan. Billing target to be met.
Ø Manpower selection and planning
Ø Allocating machines to NPD department to conduct new tool trials and production.
QMS Compliance as per all QMS standards.
Ø Daily monitoring of 4M Changes.
Ø OEE monitoring and improvement of machines
Ø Training/Skill improvement of all supervisors and operators
Ø Driving daily Production review meeting for addressing issues in tools, Quality, Operator, machine, etc.
Ø Drive improvements in Quality, Cost reduction and Productivity.
Authority:
Ø Release of Production Plan
Ø Manpower planning and Overtime planning
Ø Prioritization of Tools planning for Machines
Ø Coordinate & implement Corrective & Preventive actions in case of Delivery/Quality failure to Customer.
Ø Sanctioning Leave to subordinates including operators.
Ø Sanction overtime to operators based on the production requirements.
Ø Interviewing new employees
Liaison with:
Ø Directors: One-month raw material in advance. RM planning
Ø Customers: On time receipt of Monthly demand/schedules
Ø Accounts: Supplier payment
Ø HR: Manpower addition and skilling
Ø Quality: Line Shift inspector, Incoming inspection & FI for timely clearing of RM, WIP & FG every day.
Ø NPD: Production handover after achieving 100% dimensions and aesthetic requirements
Ø Tool room: Supply of required spare parts on time (following Break and Make concept).
Ø Machine Maintenance: Machine to run continuously without any problem. Critical spares to be maintained. Preventive machine maintenance is to be done as per date committed.
Ø Stores: Logistics - parts delivery at customer end as per commitments, Raw material supplier’s interaction in terms of Payments and supplies of RM and Packing material.
KPIs v Ontime delivery performance @ 100% every month. Zero-line stoppage at customer end v Zero Quality complaints.
v Achieving 85% OEE at Plant level.
v Zero injuries at production shop v Reduction in monthly Overtime costs
