Key Responsibilities1. Machinery Maintenance & Reliability

- Implement robust Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) schedules for all processing, extraction, blending, tableting, encapsulation, and packaging lines.
- Minimize unscheduled equipment downtime and manage rapid Breakdown Maintenance (BM) protocols.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring mechanical or electrical equipment failures.

2. Utility & Infrastructure Management

- Oversee operations and maintenance of critical plant utilities, including HVAC/AHU systems, purified water generation (RO/EDI), boilers, chillers, air compressors, nitrogen plants, and DG sets.
- Ensure optimal operation of effluent treatment plants (ETP/STP) in compliance with Uttarakhand Pollution Control Board (UKPCB) regulations.

3. Calibration, Validation & Compliance

- Lead equipment calibration, IQ/OQ/PQ validation processes, and maintain detailed engineering documentation as per cGMP, AYUSH, and FSSAI standards.
- Ensure all equipment and utilities meet internal quality standards and pass regulatory/audit inspections (WHO-GMP, ISO, AYUSH).

4. Energy Management & Cost Optimization

- Identify energy-saving initiatives to reduce power, water, and fuel consumption across plant operations.
- Manage engineering department budgets, spare parts inventory, and capital expenditure (CapEx) projects for machinery upgrades or plant expansions.

5. Vendor & Project Management





- Direct external contractors, OEM service engineers, and equipment suppliers for machine overhauls, installations, and commissioning.
- Oversee spare parts procurement, maintaining optimum safety stock to avoid production delays while minimizing holding costs.

6. Team Leadership & EHS Safety

- Lead and train a team of mechanical, electrical, and utility engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
- Enforce strict Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies, machine safety guards, LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) protocols, and permit-to-work systems.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech or M.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering.
- Experience: 10 to 20 years of hands-on plant maintenance and engineering experience in Nutraceutical, Ayurvedic, or Pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep expertise in Ayurvedic extraction plants, spray dryers, Reactors, High-Speed Packaging Lines, HVAC/Cleanroom systems, and Water Systems (RO/EDI).
- Regulatory Understanding: Solid grasp of cGMP engineering practices, validation documentation, and statutory safety/environmental compliance.
- Skills: Strong leadership, budget management, preventive maintenance software (CMMS/SAP PM module), and technical troubleshooting capabilities.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
