Location: Chakan, Pune Department: Production Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 1–3 Years Preferred Industry: PVC / Plastic Extrusion Manufacturing About the Role Industries is looking for a responsible and technically capable Machine Operator – PVC Extrusion to operate and monitor PVC extrusion machines and ensure smooth, consistent, and efficient production. The operator will be responsible for machine operation, process monitoring, basic troubleshooting, product quality, production output, and maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.

Key Responsibilities Operate PVC extrusion machines safely and efficiently. Start, stop, and operate machines according to prescribed production procedures. Monitor temperature, pressure, speed, cooling, and other machine parameters.

Ensure consistent product dimensions, finish, colour, and overall quality. Continuously monitor the extrusion line and identify abnormalities. Make basic machine and process adjustments when required. Coordinate with the Production Supervisor and Maintenance Team for technical issues.

Inspect dies, cooling tanks, cutters, sizing equipment, and other extrusion-line components. Ensure proper cutting, sizing, and handling of finished products. Minimize material wastage, rejection, and production losses.

Achieve daily production targets as per company requirements. Follow batch-wise production instructions and ensure proper material utilization. Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.

Record production quantity, wastage, downtime, and other required production data.



Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials and finished products. Follow all safety procedures and use the required PPE.

Maintain proper housekeeping around the production line.
