Role Description The Lighting Designer role at IKIO LED Lighting is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida.

The Lighting

Designer will create detailed lighting designs and layouts for commercial, industrial, residential, and specialized applications using industry-standard design tools and software.

Responsibilities include collaborating with architects, interior designers, engineers, and sales teams to develop appropriate lighting solutions that meet technical, aesthetic, and energy efficiency requirements. The role involves preparing drawings, calculations, and specifications, selecting fixtures and controls, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client guidelines.

The Lighting





Designer will participate in project reviews, support R&D; for new products, assist with lighting audits, and contribute to documentation and presentations for client proposals.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Lighting Design and general Lighting principles, including illumination levels, color rendering, and energy-efficient solutions.
- Candidates should possess skills in Architectural Lighting and Interior Design to create functional, visually appealing lighting schemes that respond to architectural and interior concepts.
- Candidates should possess skills in Lighting Control, including understanding of dimming, automation, sensor-based control, and integration with building management systems.
- Proficiency with lighting design software (e.g., DIALux, RELUX, AGi32) and CAD tools for drawings and documentation.
- Knowledge of relevant standards and codes (e.g., local building codes, energy regulations, UL/DLC norms) and basic electrical concepts related to lighting systems.
- Strong analytical and visualization skills, with attention to detail in calculations, layouts, and technical documentation.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and presenting concepts to stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; relevant industry experience is preferred.
- Experience in commercial, industrial, or hospitality lighting projects and an interest in sustainable, energy-efficient design are beneficial.
