Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Legal Intern at Lawyer Settle.

The Legal

Intern will assist in researching legal issues related to debt recovery, loan disputes, and consumer protection, and prepare concise summaries for internal use and client communication. Day-to-day tasks include supporting legal consultants in drafting and reviewing documents, organizing case-related information, and maintaining accurate records. The intern will help prepare standard templates, notices, and basic agreements under supervision, and contribute to educational content that explains legal rights and procedures to clients.



Collaboration with the legal and operations teams is expected to ensure timely, clear, and compliant support for individuals using the platform.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational knowledge of Law and relevant Legal Issues, particularly in areas such as debt recovery, contracts, and consumer protection.
- Skills in Legal Consulting support, including the ability to analyze cases, identify key legal points, and assist senior professionals with client-oriented guidance.
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, formatting, and reviewing notices, agreements, and related documentation under supervision.
- Transparent and professional Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain legal concepts in simple, accessible language.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a law program (LLB or equivalent).
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a work from home environment.
- Comfort with online research tools, productivity software, and secure document management systems.
- Demonstrated integrity, respect for confidentiality, and commitment to ethical, client-centered legal support.
