: Lead Full-Stack Technical Trainer – Web& Mobile App Development

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on technical trainer to train a batch of students in designing and developing a production-oriented web and mobile application.

The trainer will teach modern mobile, web, backend, database, cloud, DevOps, testing, security, and observability practices. The program should combine structured instruction with practical assignments, code reviews, architecture discussions, and milestone-based project development.

By the end of the program, students should be proficient in designing, building, deploying, and demonstrating production-oriented web and mobile applications. This includes user-facing mobile apps, administrative web portals, scalable backend services, real-time features, secure payments, notifications, automated testing, monitoring, and cloud deployment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess students’ existing knowledge and identify prerequisite gaps.
- Prepare a structured training plan with weekly topics, practical assignments, and project milestones.
- Conduct live, hands-on training sessions using real-world examples.
- Teach students how to translate business requirements into technical architecture and working software.
- Guide the batch through the complete software development lifecycle.
- Conduct coding exercises, code reviews, debugging sessions, and architecture reviews.
- Establish coding standards, Git workflows, pull-request practices, and documentation expectations.
- Help students build reusable, secure, testable, and maintainable components.
- Mentor students during the development of the final logistics application.
- Track individual and batch progress through assessments and project reviews.
- Identify struggling students and provide appropriate technical support.
- Ensure that students understand production concerns such as security, scalability, monitoring, cost, and reliability.
- Prepare students to explain and defend their technical decisions during project demonstrations and interviews.

Required Technical Expertise

Mobile Development

- Strong experience with React Native, Expo, and TypeScript
- Experience creating separate customer and driver/partner applications
- Mobile navigation, forms, state management, API integration, and secure storage
- Location permissions, background location tracking, maps, and push notifications
- Mobile application performance, security, and release practices

Web Development

- Strong experience with Next.js, React, and TypeScript
- Ability to build responsive admin and operations dashboards
- Experience with authentication, role-based access, forms, tables, maps, and analytics interfaces

Backend Development

- Strong experience with NestJS and TypeScript
- REST API design and OpenAPI documentation
- WebSockets or equivalent technology for live updates
- Authentication using a managed identity or OTP provider
- Short-lived JWTs, refresh-token flows, authorization, validation, and API security
- Modular backend design and production-quality error handling





Database and Data Access

- PostgreSQL database design and optimization
- PostGIS for geospatial queries, proximity searches, and service-area calculations
- Prisma schema design, migrations, transactions, and query optimization
- Understanding of indexing, data consistency, concurrency, and audit history

Caching and Messaging

- Redis for caching, rate limiting, temporary state, and distributed coordination
- AWS SQS, SNS, and EventBridge
- Understanding of asynchronous processing, retries, idempotency, dead-letter queues, and event-driven architecture
- Working knowledge of Kafka, Amazon MSK, or Kinesis for future scale

Maps, Location, and Payments

- Google Maps Platform or Mapbox integration
- Geocoding, reverse geocoding, route calculation, distance estimation, and live tracking
- Experience integrating an RBI-compliant payment aggregator
- Understanding of payment initiation, verification, webhooks, refunds, reconciliation, and secure payment handling

AWS and Infrastructure

- Experience deploying workloads in appropriate AWS India regions, including Mumbai and Hyderabad
- ECS Fargate
- Amazon S3
- CloudFront, WAF, Application Load Balancer, Route 53, and ACM
- Infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Secure management of application configuration and secrets
- Understanding of availability, backup, disaster recovery, scalability, and cloud-cost controls

CI/CD and Observability

- GitHub Actions or an equivalent CI/CD platform
- Automated build, test, migration, and deployment pipelines
- OpenTelemetry
- CloudWatch
- Grafana and/or Sentry
- Structured logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and production troubleshooting

Search, Analytics, and Data

- PostgreSQL-based search for the initial application
- Understanding of when and how to introduce OpenSearch
- Amazon S3-based data lake fundamentals
- Athena for initial analytics and reporting
- Familiarity with operational and product analytics

Testing

- Jest for unit and integration testing
- Supertest for backend API testing
- Playwright for web end-to-end testing
- Maestro or Detox for mobile automation
- k6 for load and performance testing
- Ability to teach testing strategy, test design, mocking, fixtures, coverage, and CI integration

Required Experience

- Robust hands-on experience delivering production-grade full-stack applications.
- Demonstrable experience with TypeScript across mobile, web, and backend systems.
- Practical experience with cloud deployment and modern DevOps practices.
- Previous experience training, mentoring, or leading junior developers.
- Ability to explain complex topics clearly to students with different skill levels.
- Strong debugging, code-review, communication,



and problem-solving skills.
- Experience breaking a large product into manageable learning and delivery milestones.

Preferred Experience

- Experience with Enterprise scale products which can include logistics, mobility, ride-hailing, delivery, marketplace etc.
- Experience designing real-time dispatching, tracking, or allocation systems.
- Familiarity with Indian payment, data-protection, security, and operational requirements.
- AWS certifications or relevant professional certifications.
- Experience conducting project-based cohort training or boot camps.
- Experience mentoring teams from initial design through cloud deployment.

Expected Student Outcomes After completing the program, students should be able to:

- Build React Native applications using Expo and TypeScript.
- Build an admin portal using Next.js and React.
- Design and implement secure APIs using NestJS.
- Model transactional and geospatial data using PostgreSQL, PostGIS, and Prisma.
- Implement live location and booking updates.
- Integrate maps, authentication, notifications, and payments.
- Use caching, queues, events, and background processing appropriately.
- Write automated unit, integration, end-to-end, mobile, and performance tests.
- Provision AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
- Build CI/CD pipelines and deploy applications to ECS Fargate.
- Monitor and troubleshoot a deployed system.
- Work collaboratively through Git branches, pull requests, reviews, and release cycles.
