Lead the design of infrastructure utilities for live Saudi projects, from our Hyderabad design office.
External utility networks for masterplans and giga projects: wet utilities, electrical, ICT/security and fire life safety (FLS), designed in Civil 3D and taken through client and authority approval. Pay: Upto ₹2.75 lakh per month, based on experience and interview performance.
Please read before applying. This is a design-office role. Do not apply if your experience is mainly in:
- Site execution, construction, project management, PMC or QA/QC.
- Plant, factory or building utilities operation and maintenance (O&M;), commissioning or facilities management.
- Security systems or telecom installation, IT networks, cloud or software. "Infrastructure" here means civil infrastructure, not IT.
- BIM modelling of buildings (architecture, structure or MEP) without utility network design.
- Less than 8 years' experience, or you are a student.
Applications that don't show utility network designs you produced (drawings and calculations) will not be reviewed. About Invicta-Tech
Invicta-Tech is a digital design and construction advisory firm specialising in BIM and technology-driven delivery for complex projects across KSA and the GCC. We work with contractors, consultants and asset owners to turn models, drawings and point clouds into measurable, client-ready deliverables aligned with ISO 19650, project EIRs and BEPs.
Our work spans BIM production (LOD 200-500), model coordination and clash management, BIM automation and asset handover, across infrastructure & landscape, airports, hospitality, giga projects, industrial and logistics facilities. Our delivery team is based in Hyderabad.
About the role
You will hold design responsibility for infrastructure utility packages on live KSA projects. You are the technical face of these packages to the client: you produce and defend the design, take submissions through review and approval,
and lead the engineers and modellers who produce the drawings and models.
This is a hands-on design lead role. You will pick up designs already in progress in your first week, so you need to read quickly where a design stands, what the client has commented on, and what is due next.
What you will do
Design responsibility
- Wet utilities: storm water, sewer, potable water, irrigation and fire water networks.
- Electrical: MV/LV power distribution routes, duct banks and street lighting networks.
- ICT and security: telecom and ICT duct networks, CCTV and security infrastructure routing.
- Fire life safety (FLS): fire water and hydrant networks and fire access coordination.
- Interfaces: levels and grading, road corridors, buildings and other disciplines; utility corridors and crossings.
- Produce design drawings, calculations, design reports and model-based layouts in Civil 3D.
Client and approvals
- Be the client's technical point of contact on your packages. Lead design review meetings.
- Prepare submissions and take them through client and authority review to approval.
- Track every comment to close-out: respond, revise, resubmit. Keep a clean comment and revision log.
Team and quality
- Lead engineers and Civil 3D modellers: break down the work, set priorities, review everything before it goes to the client.
- Coach the team on design standards, Civil 3D and BIM workflows, and handling client comments.
- Own the deliverables schedule for your packages and flag risks early, each with a proposed fix.
What we are looking for (must-have)
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Electrical considered with strong infrastructure utilities design).
- 8+ years in infrastructure utilities design, of which at least 5 in a design role (consultancy or design office) producing design drawings and calculations. Site or execution-only experience will not be considered.
- Designed utility networks for projects in the GCC (Saudi Arabia preferred).
- Strong hands-on Civil 3D: surfaces, grading, pipe and pressure networks, utility layouts.
- Has taken utilities designs through client or authority approval in the Gulf.
- Has led at least 3 engineers or modellers on live deliverables, including reviewing their work.
- Clear written and spoken English: comment responses, design reports and client meetings.
Valuable to have
- Giga-project or large master-plan experience in the GCC.
- Knowledge of KSA authority and utility standards (e.g. SEC, NWC, MOMRA submission processes).
- Revit, Navisworks and clash coordination.
- Model-based quantity take-off; ISO 19650, BEP and MIDP.
- M.E./M.Tech.
How you will be measured
- Submissions on your packages go out on time and complete.
- Client comments close fast, with few repeats.
- Designs reach approval in fewer revision cycles.
What we offer
- Upto ₹2.75 lakh per month, based on experience and interview performance.
- Design ownership of live KSA/GCC projects from day one.
- A small, senior team where your judgement shapes delivery.
- Room to build and lead the infrastructure design practice as the firm grows.
Location and work mode
Hyderabad, India. Full-time, on-site in our design office.
How to apply
Apply through LinkedIn with your CV. Your CV must list the utility design packages you produced, with the design software and your role. In your application, tell us briefly about one utilities design package you took through approval in the GCC: what you designed, your role, the team size, and what you would do differently.
