Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Jr Pharmacist role based in Bengaluru.

The Jr

Pharmacist will assist in dispensing medications as per prescriptions, ensuring correct dosage, labeling, and packaging under the supervision of senior pharmacists.

Responsibilities include maintaining pharmacy inventory, checking expiry dates, arranging stock, and supporting procurement processes. The role involves counseling patients on medication usage as per protocols, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to legal, regulatory, and hospital guidelines.

Pharmacist will collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff to support safe and efficient patient care.





Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution, with valid registration from the appropriate pharmacy council.
- Knowledge of basic pharmacology, dosage forms, and prescription interpretation to support safe dispensing of medications.
- Familiarity with pharmacy operations, including stock management, record keeping, and use of pharmacy or hospital information systems.
- Understanding of medication safety standards, regulatory requirements, and infection control practices in a clinical setting.
- Solid attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills to manage prescriptions and inventory effectively.
- Transparent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals, with a focus on patient education and confidentiality.
- Ability to work in shifts in a busy hospital environment, collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, and follow established protocols.
- Prior internship or experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy is an advantage, along with willingness to learn and grow in the role.
