StarZen is looking for a Java Technical Lead / Product Owner with strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot and Microservices.
The role combines technical leadership, solution design, Agile delivery, product ownership and client management. The ideal candidate should be technically robust in Java while being comfortable leading engineering teams and managing enterprise stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical delivery of Java/Spring Boot applications and microservices.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog and release roadmap.
- Drive architecture, technical design, code quality and engineering standards.
- Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies and ensure timely delivery.
- Work closely with developers, architects, DevOps and other technical teams.
- Act as the technical point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
- Manage technical risks, dependencies and delivery commitments.
- Mentor engineers and conduct technical/code reviews.
- Drive CI/CD and cloud-native development practices.
- 10+ years of overall software development experience.
- 3+ years in a Technical Lead / Java Lead / Architect / Product Owner or similar leadership role.
- Strong professional experience delivering enterprise Java applications.
- Experience leading technical teams and working with enterprise clients.
- Experience with multi-team or multi-vendor delivery is preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related field preferred.
