We are seeking a talented Core Java Engineer with a strong focus on FIX protocol experience and market data & order FIX gateways . This role is perfect for engineers with 3+ years of experience eager to contribute to a high-performance trading platform.

Role Overview:

This is full time Mumbai based position; requires hands on expertise in FIX protocol integration and Core Java development . The role involves building and optimizing components such as FIX gateways, market data gateways, and order FIX gateways for our low-latency trading platform.

Key Responsibilities:

- Integrate and optimize FIX-based communication between trading systems, market participants, and liquidity providers
- Develop and maintain market data and order FIX gateways using FIX 4.4 and FIX 5.0 for exchange connectivity
- Collaborate with the team to enhance system performance for low-latency, high-throughput environments
- Troubleshoot, monitor, and resolve issues related to FIX protocol interactions in production systems
- Contribute to the adoption of best practices in software development and design.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
- Experience: 3+ years of hands-on Core Java development in performance-critical environments





Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in Core Java (Java 8 / 11 / 17 / 21), with good grasp of Java concurrency and multi-threading
- Strong understanding of OOAD & SOLID design principles
- Familiarity with network protocols and high performance messaging systems
- Good knowledge of FIX protocols (FIX 5.0 & FIX 4.4) & QuickFIXJ /similar frameworks
- Basic understanding of JVM internals, garbage collection, performance tuning & profiling tools
- Hands-on experience with TDD/BDD and CI/CD pipelines

Valuable-to-Have Skills:

- Experience with low latency FIX Engines such as Chronicle FIX, Coral FIX, OnixS FIX, FIX Antenna/FIX Edge etc
- Experience with low-latency technologies (Chronicle Queue, Chronicle Map, LMAX Disruptor, OpenHFT, memory-mapped files)
- Experience with in-memory data grids (Hazelcast, Redis, AMPS etc)
- Understanding of time series databases (KDB, QuestDB, ClickhouseDB, InfluxDB).
- Performance benchmarking (JLBH & JMH)
