Role & responsibilities

- Contribute to product releases through feature design, development, and maintenance.

- Collaborate with other developers on product development.

- Develop unit tests before handing over work to QA.

- Stay updated with server development, security, frameworks, and infrastructure technologies.

- Develop code with focus on performance, correctness, security, and enterprise-level scale.

- Apply new technologies to improve and scale the product.

- Participate in release processes and project life-cycle activities.

- Prepare functional specifications and design documents.

- Engage with customers in technical discussions.

- Use AI assistants and effectively prompt LLMs for useful outputs.

- Fact-check and validate AI-generated content.

Preferred candidate profile

- 46 years of development experience in the Java ecosystem.





- Strong Java programming and J2EE knowledge.

- Experience with object-oriented design and design patterns.

- Experience in the security software domain.

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Knowledge of Spring and Hibernate is desirable.

- Ability to learn and apply recent technologies.

- Knowledge of software engineering practices, release processes, and project life cycles.

- Excellent written and verbal communication.

- Strong teamwork and proactive approach.

- Hands-on experience with AI assistants and LLM prompting.

- Understanding of AI hallucinations, biases, and limitations.
