Role Description The Java Backend Developer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This position involves designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs using Java and related frameworks.

Daily responsibilities include implementing microservices, optimizing application performance, troubleshooting and resolving backend issues, and collaborating with front-end developers, cloud engineers, and product stakeholders. The developer will participate in code reviews, write unit and integration tests, contribute to technical documentation, and help improve backend architecture and development practices.

Qualifications





- Robust backend Software Development skills, including system design and API development.
- Proficiency in core Java Programming for building robust, scalable services.
- Experience with Microservices architecture, including service communication and deployment.
- Hands-on expertise with the Spring Framework (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration with front-end and third-party systems.
- Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases, including query optimization and schema design.
- Experience with version control (Git), build tools (Maven/Gradle), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Ability to write clean, testable code and experience with unit and integration testing frameworks.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
