Role Description The Insurance Advisor role is an on-site position based in India. In this role, the advisor will guide customers through various insurance products, explain benefits and exclusions in simple terms, and help them choose plans aligned with their needs and financial goals.

Day-to-day tasks include answering customer queries via calls or messages, conducting needs assessments, comparing product features, and preparing explicit recommendations. The advisor will collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate information, assist with policy onboarding, and maintain detailed records of customer interactions. The role also involves staying updated on insurance and financial regulations,



product changes, and market trends to provide reliable, unbiased advice.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Insurance products and concepts, with the ability to explain them clearly and objectively.
- Understanding of Finance principles to help customers assess affordability, risk, and long-term planning.
- Consulting skills to conduct needs analysis, present options, and support customers in making informed decisions.
- Customer Service skills to handle queries patiently, build trust, and manage expectations throughout the advisory process.
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on clarity, empathy, and active listening.
- Ability to work on-site in India and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and strong documentation skills for maintaining accurate records and compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications in insurance advisory are an added advantage.
