Role Description The Instructor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The Instructor will deliver engaging classroom and small-group sessions for test preparation courses (such as IELTS, GRE, SAT, GMAT, TOEFL, and Duolingo), following structured lesson plans and using appropriate teaching materials. Daily responsibilities include explaining concepts clearly, guiding learners through practice exercises, providing feedback on assignments, and monitoring learner progress.

The Instructor will also conduct sessions focused on soft skills, English language, and optionally French language,



helping participants improve communication, critical thinking, and exam strategies. Additional tasks include maintaining accurate records, collaborating with counselling staff to understand learner goals, and contributing to continuous improvement of teaching resources and methodologies.

Qualifications

- Robust proficiency in English language teaching, with experience in test preparation for exams such as IELTS, GRE, SAT, GMAT, TOEFL, or Duolingo.
- Ability to design and deliver clear, structured lessons, including use of appropriate teaching methodologies and classroom management techniques.
- Experience in developing learners’ soft skills, including communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; French language teaching capability is an advantage.
- Solid assessment and feedback skills, including evaluating practice tests, identifying areas for improvement, and coaching learners toward target scores.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, learner-friendly manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Languages, Linguistics, Psychology, or a related field; relevant teaching certifications (e.g., TESOL, CELTA) are a plus.
- Prior experience as an instructor, tutor, or trainer in test-prep or language training environments preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical, learner-centered guidance and the ability to work collaboratively with counselling and administrative teams.
