Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Installation Manager – Electrical & Automation to supervise and manage the electrical installation and commissioning of industrial automation systems at customer premises.

The key responsibility is to ensure that all electrical installations are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and to the required quality standards. The role will also involve leading and coordinating local assembly and installation teams, managing site activities, and ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities1. Electrical Installation & Project Supervision

- Supervise electrical installation activities for industrial automation systems at customer sites.
- Ensure installations are completed according to approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, customer representatives, and site personnel.
- Monitor site progress and ensure timely completion of installation activities.

1. Electrical Plans & Circuitry

- Prepare and review electrical plans, layouts, wiring diagrams, and circuitry for installations.
- Ensure electrical layouts are practical, accurate, and compliant with applicable standards.
- Coordinate modifications to electrical plans based on site requirements.

1. Installation, Testing & Commissioning

- Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, calibration, modification, and repair of electrical equipment and systems.
- Ensure all electrical equipment and installations meet required technical, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical installation issues and coordinate corrective actions.




- Support commissioning activities and ensure successful handover of completed systems.

1. Team Leadership & Coordination

- Lead and supervise local assembly coordinators, electricians, technicians, and installation teams.
- Allocate work, monitor productivity, and ensure effective utilization of manpower.
- Provide technical guidance and support to installation teams.
- Conduct regular site meetings and communicate project priorities and requirements.

1. Electrical Equipment & Assembly Supervision

- Supervise the assembly and installation of electrical devices and equipment.
- Oversee installation of protection relays, metering devices, indicating devices, control panels, cabling systems, and related electrical equipment.
- Ensure proper wiring, termination, testing, and functionality of electrical systems.

1. Electrical Layout & Installation

- Supervise electrical layouts and installation of:
- Switchgear systems
- Motor control systems
- Cabling systems
- Control panels
- Electrical distribution systems
- Automation-related electrical equipment
- Ensure proper routing, termination, identification, and installation of cables and electrical components.

1. Quality & Compliance

- Inspect completed electrical installations for compliance with approved specifications, drawings, quality requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Identify installation defects and ensure timely rectification.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship throughout the project.
- Ensure all site activities comply with electrical safety procedures and company standards.

1. Safety Management

- Ensure electrical installation activities are performed safely and in accordance with HSE requirements.




- Conduct safety briefings and ensure the installation team follows secure working practices.
- Identify potential electrical and site-related hazards and take appropriate preventive measures.
- Report and address safety incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.

Required Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of industrial project execution and project deliveries.
- Good understanding of industrial automation technology.
- Knowledge of electrical installation and commissioning methods.
- Knowledge of electrical testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance.
- Understanding of electrical drawings, circuitry, control systems, switchgear, cabling, and motor control systems.
- Knowledge of applicable electrical standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
- Experience in the Tyre Industry will be an added advantage.

Eligibility Criteria
- Experience: 10–13 years in electrical installation, commissioning, industrial automation, or related project execution.
- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
- Candidates with experience in industrial automation projects, manufacturing plants, material handling systems, or large-scale electrical installations will be preferred.
- Tyre industry experience is an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel to customer/project sites as required.

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹98,000.00 per month
