We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager - Portfolio Management & In-Licensing to drive portfolio strategy, product evaluation and in-licensing initiatives across India and Emerging Markets. The role will be responsible for identifying and evaluating licensing opportunities, developing portfolio growth strategies, conducting commercial and financial assessments, leading cross-functional due diligence, and executing strategic partnerships that strengthen the company's product pipeline and commercial portfolio. The incumbent will work closely with Business Development, Medical, Regulatory, Finance, IP, Legal and country teams to maximize portfolio value and support sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute portfolio strategies aligned with business objectives, therapeutic area priorities and emerging market needs.
- Identify, scout, and evaluate in-licensing opportunities through partnerships with global pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
- Conduct market assessments, competitive analysis, product trend evaluation, and commercial opportunity reviews across emerging markets and India.
- Build and maintain product wish lists and opportunity pipelines in collaboration with business teams.
- Assess new products and pipeline assets based on strategic fit, market attractiveness, clinical value, regulatory feasibility, and financial returns.
- Develop business cases, including revenue forecasts, pricing assessments, NPV, IRR, ROI, and investment analyses to support decision-making.
- Lead cross-functional due diligence involving clinical, regulatory, medical, IP, legal,



supply chain, manufacturing, finance, and commercial teams.
- Drive deal execution activities including NDA/CDA, term sheets, commercial negotiations, definitive agreements, and management approvals.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, patent landscapes, and emerging technologies to identify future growth opportunities.
- Facilitate governance reviews, portfolio tracking, risk management, and post-deal alliance management to ensure successful implementation and commercialization.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related discipline; MBA preferred.
- 8-12 years of experience in Portfolio Management, Business Development, In-Licensing, Strategy within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Robust understanding of pharmaceutical product development, commercialization, and licensing processes.
- Experience in financial modelling, valuation, NPV/IRR analysis, and business case development.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage external partnerships.
- Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Exposure to emerging markets, specialty products, oncology, or global portfolio management will be an advantage.
