Role Description The HVAC Design Engineer is a full time, on-site role based in the Greater Ahmedabad Area. The person in this position will design HVAC systems for pharmaceutical facilities, including clean rooms and critical environments, ensuring regulatory compliance, energy efficiency, and reliable performance.

Daily tasks include performing heat load and airflow calculations, sizing equipment, preparing layouts and schematics, and coordinating HVAC designs with architecture, civil, MEP,



and process requirements. The role involves reviewing project specifications, preparing technical documentation and BOQs, supporting installation and commissioning teams, and resolving design-related issues during execution. Collaboration with project managers, vendors, and cross-functional engineering teams is expected to ensure timely and accurate delivery of design packages.

Qualifications

- Strong HVAC Design and HVAC engineering skills for clean rooms and pharmaceutical environments.
- Knowledge of Plumbing systems and related piping design in coordination with HVAC and MEP layouts.
- Ability to perform detailed engineering Calculations, including heat load, pressure drop, and equipment sizing.
- Solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles applied to building services and process utilities.
- Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or clean room projects and familiarity with GMP and regulatory standards is an advantage.
- Proficiency with CAD and HVAC design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools).
- Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and safety.
