Role Description The IELTS Tutor will deliver high-quality classroom instruction to students preparing for the IELTS exam, focusing on listening, reading, writing, and speaking modules. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and conducting lessons, developing and updating teaching materials, assessing student performance through tests and mock exams, and providing detailed feedback to support improvement. The tutor will guide learners on exam strategies, time management, and language skills, while maintaining accurate records of attendance and progress.





Collaboration with the counseling and academic teams to align coaching with students’ study abroad goals is expected. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat.

Qualifications

- Strong command of English language skills, including grammar, vocabulary, and academic writing, with the ability to teach listening, reading, writing, and speaking for IELTS.
- Experience in exam preparation or language training, preferably with prior IELTS tutoring or teaching roles in test-prep or education institutions.
- Ability to design lesson plans, create practice materials, and conduct mock tests tailored to different proficiency levels.
- Effective classroom management skills, with the capacity to handle group sessions and offer one-on-one support when needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage learners, provide constructive feedback, and motivate diverse student groups.
- Robust organizational skills for tracking student progress, maintaining records, and managing schedules and batches.
- Comfort with basic digital tools and online resources for language learning, test practice, and content sharing.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field; a relevant teaching certificate (e.g., TESOL, TEFL, CELTA) or high IELTS band score is an advantage.
- Commitment to student success, ethical guidance, and continuous professional development in teaching methodologies and exam formats.
