People Officer (North POS)

Department: Human Resources

Role: People Officer – North POS

Location: North POS

Base Location: One of the designated North POS outlets

Reporting To: HR

Role Overview

We are looking for a People Officer to manage HR operations and employee engagement for the North POS region. The role will focus on attendance management, payroll coordination, PF & ESIC compliance, employee connect, HR operations, employee engagement, HR reporting, and people analytics.

This is primarily an HR Operations and People Management role and does not involve recruitment as a primary responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

1. Attendance & HR Operations

- Monitor and maintain daily employee attendance across assigned outlets.
- Ensure timely regularization of attendance, leaves, weekly offs, late marks, and absenteeism.
- Coordinate with Outlet Managers and Operations teams for attendance-related issues.
- Track employee movements, transfers, joining formalities, and exit-related HR processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Ensure timely completion of HR-related processes at outlet level.

1. PF & ESIC Compliance

- Coordinate and monitor PF and ESIC-related processes for employees.
- Ensure employee PF and ESIC details are accurate and updated.
- Coordinate with payroll and relevant teams for PF/ESIC registration, corrections, and employee queries.
- Track statutory compliance requirements and ensure timely closure of pending cases.
- Maintain proper documentation related to statutory compliance.

1. Payroll Coordination

- Validate attendance and leave data before payroll processing.
- Coordinate with payroll for salary-related discrepancies.
- Track and resolve issues related to attendance, deductions, leave, PF, ESIC,



and other payroll inputs.
- Ensure timely submission of monthly HR inputs.

1. HR Connect & Employee Engagement

- Conduct regular HR Connects with employees across North POS outlets.
- Understand employee concerns, grievances, workplace challenges, and engagement needs.
- Conduct regular outlet visits and interact with employees and managers.
- Maintain an HR Connect Tracker and ensure timely closure of employee concerns.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and improve the overall employee experience.

1. HR Heat Map & People Analytics

- Prepare and maintain HR Heat Maps for assigned outlets.
- Identify trends related to:
- Attrition
- Absenteeism
- Employee grievances
- Attendance issues
- Performance concerns
- Employee engagement
- Manpower stability
- Identify high-risk outlets and employee-related concerns.
- Share actionable HR insights with management.
- Prepare regular HR dashboards, reports, and MIS for the North POS region.

1. Employee Relations

- Act as the first point of HR contact for employees at assigned outlets.
- Handle employee grievances and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for resolution.
- Support Outlet Managers and Operations teams in handling employee-related concerns.
- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee matters.
- Ensure HR policies and processes are communicated effectively to employees.

HR Compliance & Documentation

- Ensure outlet-level compliance with company HR policies and processes.
- Conduct periodic HR audits at assigned outlets.
- Check employee documentation, attendance records, statutory details, and HR records.
- Identify compliance gaps and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Maintain accurate and updated HR documentation.

Candidate Profile
- Experience: 2–5 years in HR Operations / People Operations / Employee Relations
- Strong knowledge of attendance, payroll coordination, PF, ESIC, and HR compliance
- Good understanding of employee lifecycle and HR processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and HRMS
- Comfortable travelling to and visiting multiple outlets
- Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work closely with Operations and Outlet Managers

Work Schedule & Location
- Working Days: 6 days a week
- Weekly Off: Sunday only
- Base Location: One of the designated North POS outlets
- Travel: The candidate will be required to visit other assigned North POS outlets for HR Connects, employee interactions, compliance checks, HR audits, and operational HR activities.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
